Accommodation

On campus accommodation at the McGregor College is available, the price includes 8 nights (12 – 20 Jan 19), continental breakfast and buffet dinner are included. Basic dietary requirements can be catered for upon prior arrangement. Accommodation is provided on campus at the University Residential Colleges. The Colleges are within easy walking distance of the Campus.

Payment plans

During the registration process you will be asked to choose your payment option. You can opt to pay the full amount of your tuition or place a $100 deposit.

If you choose to place a deposit you will be provided with login details to make payments as you wish, with the final balance due 14 December 2018. Please note your deposit is non-refundable.

The USQ Artsworx McGregor Schools and the Friends of McGregor offer various full and part scholarships. These are available in any medium the School offers. Selection for all scholarships will be made by a consensus rating of the Friends of McGregor Committee and USQ Artsworx staff based on:

  • Location of student;
  • Artistic potential, and/or
  • Degree of financial need for assistance

Application information

The application form will be treated as a tentative booking and a place held for the applicant in the class of their choice (and accommodation held if required). Applicants are asked not to submit payment until the scholarships have been awarded and the amount owing can be calculated if any. Should an applicant be unsuccessful and still wish to attend, the Early Bird discount periods will be extended to allow them to take advantage of this offer.

NB. No retrospective scholarship submissions will be accepted if the applicant has enrolled and paid the full fee.

Closing Date for scholarship applications is Monday, 10 September 18.

Scholarships on offer in 2019

Margaret Clifford Scholarship

Margaret was the Administrator and Manager of the McGregor Schools
for 27 years. This Scholarship is presented in recognition of her significant contribution to the Schools. This is a full tuition scholarship.

Bunty Griffiths Scholarship

Bunty was the Chancellor of USQ 1990 & prior was Chairman of Council DDIAE 1971 – 1989 and a great supporter and regular student of the McGregor Schools. This is a full tuition scholarship.

Partial Scholarships

There are several part scholarships made available from the Friends of McGregor committee. These scholarships apply to tuition only and students from all classes are encouraged to apply.
