Primary education
Theatre and primary school children
Primary school children love the fun, imagination, colour and action of live theatre, and as such, it can be an extraordinarily effective tool in their education. Artsworx recognises the value of theatre for younger audiences, and stages several productions each year aimed especially at their needs and interests. Teachers can then incorporate the theatre experience into the classroom practice, helping to bring the subject material alive for those curious minds. Theatre can also encourage primary school children to become more interested in activities such as reading, writing, and performing.
