Fire – Third year theatre student production
They’ve spent three years studying their craft and this is your last chance to see USQ’s third year Theatre Students in a USQ production: Fire by Scott Alderdice
On Sunday, 13 January 2013 – the forests of the ancient Warrumbungle Ranges burned to the ground.
In human terms, only farmhouses and sheds were destroyed in the inferno. But for the animals; the emus and cockatoos, kangaroos, lizards, and koalas the fire brought an afternoon of devastating annihilation.
Fire is the story of the Warrumbungle fires, as told by the animals.
The third year theatre production is typically a work from a contemporary playwright and will feature the graduating theatre class of 2019, marking the completion of their undergraduate studies.
