This workshop will explore the use of sketchbooks as an everyday record of a life observed.

Using pens and watercolour you will explore recording our daily lives from the ordinary to the unusual and prove to yourself that you can get a creative habit going and keep yourself observant and present.
The workshop will see you experiment with drawing techniques, watercolour washes and fun exercises to loosen up. You will discover that you CAN draw and that any time is a good time to build your creative habits!
This class is suitable for those 15 years and older, however if you are under the age of 18 please contact the McGregor Office prior to booking.
Deb studied at the Queensland College of Art and has taught art workshops for over 15 years.
“I’m interested in Rhopography (from trivial objects, small wares, trifles) which searches for those things which lack importance, but that can so often point to the meta narratives of life.
“In these uncertain days I want to have conversations that point quietly and steadily towards beauty, grace and truth.
“I have been in the habit of keeping a sketchbook for the last 15 years and consider it my favourite medium as well as a handy spare brain” – Deb Mostert.
