Classic Album

Revisiting the touchstone albums, celebrated songwriters and memorable music moments from the past!

Every generation of popular musicians leaves an indelible mark on popular culture and this 70 min show, produced by USQ’s 3rd year music students, looks to rework, rethink and revisit these marks.

Looking at the albums, sounds and artists that influenced particular eras, Classic Album is an extended concert that showcases the final year music student’s maturing musicality and helps to leave them ready to take on the modern music industry.

The 2018 repertoire will be released as the event draws closer and students have begun to work with the USQ music lecturers to research and write the evening’s show.

This is an Incubator event

Incubator events showcase USQ’s emerging artists and convey a sense of raw energy and talent. Typically created as part of the artists’ learning journey, Incubator events focus on the development of ideas, skills and concepts rather than a ‘polished and finished’ product.

USQ Artsworx invites you to experience these works first hand! Bring with you an open mind and allow yourself to digest an array of exciting potential laid out in its purest form.
