Colour and Light

 Medium: Ceramics
Skill: Intermediate to advanced
Materials: $60*

Porcelain is a wonderful material to show off colour and translucency. Join John Tuckwell on a journey to understanding the use of porcelain slip and colour.

Ideal for people wanting to develop hand building skills, this workshop will use coloured slip slabs to construct vessels and sculptures.

Participants will learn the technical background to using liquid clay and working with plaster slabs, they will use these new skills to make new ceramic art constructions to take home with them.

At the end of this 7-day workshop students will take home a few new pieces for their collection, as well as new knowledge and techniques to apply to their existing ceramic practice.
