In this bootmaking workshop you will make your own pair of leather ankle boots.

The workshop will cover pattern making, cutting, sewing, lasting, soling and finishing your boots. You will decorate the natural leather to your own liking, using various techniques including dying, pyrography and stamping.

You will leave with your very own boots, made by you to wear home as well as a number of skills to apply to your next project.

About Pendragon (Jackie & Adrian)

Jackie and Adrian are designer shoemakers based on the Sunshine Coast in Qld. They started their label Pendragon Shoes in 1987 and have been hand making shoes to order since then – you may recognise their amazing shoes from festivals like Woodford Folk Festival and Bryon Bay Bluesfest.

The duo started teaching about six years ago and have developed a love for sharing their knowledge. Their courses are typically a fusion of creativity and traditional shoemaking skills.
