In this 100% hands on, fun workshop, you will learn how to create a variety of cheeses in your own home.
On Saturday learn how to create camembert, fetta, ricotta, mascarpone, quark (cream cheese) and a greek style yoghurt.
After mastering your soft cheeses, on Sunday we will indulge in an advanced cheese making workshop that will take your love of cheese one step further! Learn how to make farm house cheddar, blue vein, havarti, haloumi and mozzarella.
Add these delicious cheeses to your collection using all the same equipment used to make your soft cheeses. Imagine serving your own creamy blue vein cheese with a cheeky port to finish your meal, or how good that pizza is going to taste with you own mozzarella and a little fresh basil.
You will be making your own cheeses in the workshop and gaining a better understanding of curd and how it differs from cheese to cheese. You will be stretching mozzarella, waxing and pressing cheese all under the guidance of our artisan home cheese makers.
You will be surprised at how easy home cheesemaking really is! Our cheesemaking workshop is taught by home cheesemakers for home cheesemakers, we do not use fancy equipment and the process has been modified for your home kitchen environment.
After this workshop we guarantee you will be able to make your own gourmet cheeses at home!
