Pay What You Can Ticketing

You can now attend student performances at a price that suits you with Pay What You Can (PWYC) ticketing.

PWYC allows us to support our emerging and student artists while also making their performances accessible to more people. This system takes away the risk associated with high ticket prices and allows patrons the opportunity to see performances that they may not otherwise see.

All scheduled student events for 2019 have PWYC ticketing. This includes showcase events which are full, mainstage productions featuring university students in their final year of study, as well as productions by students in earlier stages of their studies.

Wait – so how much do I pay?

Seriously, it’s up to you!

We’ve set four pricing intervals for you to choose from, these are: $5, $15, $25 or $50. The idea is that you select the interval that you can afford – it’s an honesty system.

If you can afford to pay a little more – then we encourage you to support the next generation of performing artists and do so. If you can only pay a little then that is ok too, the arts is for everyone.

I’m bringing friends – so can I buy multiple tickets at different pricing intervals?

You sure can!

When you get to the Ticket Selection section of your booking you will have the option to select the quantity of each pricing interval you wish to purchase.

Where is the money I pay going?

The money USQ Artsworx receives from PWYC ticketing goes towards off-setting the costs associated with staging student productions and supporting the development of future student works as well as USQ based artists.
